Smart Links From Your Systems or Your AI Assistant: Appy’s API and MCP Server
The Business plan now includes Appy’s API and MCP server. Your CMS, store or CRM can create links on their own, and Claude, Codex, Cursor or VS Code can tell you which link did best last week.
What’s new
Until now, every Appy link started in the dashboard. Business accounts can now connect Appy to the rest of their stack in two ways: an API for your own systems, and an MCP server for AI assistants.
Both work on the same links, with the same rules and the same numbers as your dashboard. A link made by your store backend or by one sentence in Claude behaves exactly like one made by hand.
Why it matters
By hand
- Someone copies product URLs into a spreadsheet
- New products wait a day for their link
- Clicks get exported to CSV every Monday
- A new store page means editing links one by one
With the API and MCP server
- Links are created the moment something is published
- Clicks flow into your BI tool on their own
- Hundreds of links updated in under a minute
- Anyone on the team can ask an assistant for the numbers
What teams connect first
One account, one key per system. Each tool takes over the part it already knows best.
Your Appy account
One key for each system or assistant
- Store backendA link for every new product, opening it in your app
- CMSA link for every article, ready the moment it goes live
- CRM and emailA personal link for each customer or campaign
- BI and warehouseClicks by link, day and country, every morning
Or just ask
With the MCP server, Claude, Codex, Cursor or VS Code work with your links in plain words. No dashboard, no export.

Which links got the most clicks last week?
Claude
spring-sale led with 4,812 clicks, more than twice app-download. The poster QR code came fourth with 877.

Make an autumn link like spring-sale, but send everyone without the app to acme.com/autumn.
Claude
Done: appy.to/autumn-sale is live. It opens the app on iPhone and Android, uses the same store pages as spring-sale and sends everyone else to acme.com/autumn.

Frequently asked questions
Which plans include the API and the MCP server?
Business and Enterprise, at no extra cost. Free and Pro accounts can upgrade whenever they want a key.
What is an MCP server?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and data. Appy’s MCP server lets assistants such as Claude, Codex, Cursor and VS Code work with your links and numbers.
Do we need a developer?
For the API, yes, once, to connect it. The MCP server needs no programming: follow the guide for your assistant and paste in your key.
Can an assistant delete my links by mistake?
Assistants ask before they delete a link, and many of them ask you to approve changes as well. A deleted link stops redirecting, and its address stays reserved so nobody else can take it.
Does it include install attribution?
Links and clicks are on Business. Installs, in-app events and revenue come with the SDK on Enterprise.

onelink.to sends people to a store page, and opening your app starts at its $40 Team Plus plan. Appy opens the installed app from $9.99, routes Huawei phones to AppGallery on every plan and keeps stats without a time limit. A plan-by-plan comparison.
