Airbridge Pricing Changed in 2026: The Free Plans Became a 30-Day Trial

Airbridge used to advertise a free Core allowance and a free DeepLink plan. The pricing page now shows a 30-day trial followed by $40+ a month, while the older blog posts still say free. Here is the timeline, and what to check if you signed up on the old terms.

What changed

If you went looking for an Airbridge free plan this year, you probably found two. In February the DeepLink plan was pitched as free for apps under 10,000 monthly active users. In March the new Core plan launched with 15,000 attributed installs at no cost and no credit card. Both offers were real, and plenty of teams leaving Firebase Dynamic Links took them.

Neither one is on Airbridge’s pricing page today. Core now starts with a 30-day trial and then costs $40 a month, charged in advance, with usage metered in data points. The DeepLink plan isn’t listed at all. We couldn’t find an announcement or a changelog entry about the switch. Meanwhile the blog posts describing the free offers are still online and still show up in search, which explains most of the confusion we’ve seen.

What Airbridge said, and when

What the pricing page says now

There are two plans. Core is listed at “$40+/mo” with a 30-day free trial and 500,000 data points included, then $0.0001 for every extra data point. Growth is custom-priced and goes through sales. Airbridge’s own estimate is that $40 covers about 35,000 monthly active users “at typical usage”.

The help center is clear about the trial: once the 30 days are over, Core becomes a paid subscription and the $40 is taken up front. What it doesn’t say is what happens to your tracking links and deep links if the trial ends and you don’t pay. We looked for it and didn’t find it. If you have links in print or in live campaigns, ask Airbridge support before day 30, not after.

Data points are also harder to budget than installs. An install is an install. A data point is any event Airbridge records, so two apps with the same audience can use very different amounts depending on what they send. $0.0001 looks like nothing until you work out that each extra million points is another $100.

Who this actually hits

Mostly two groups. The first moved from Firebase Dynamic Links to the DeepLink plan because it was free under 10,000 MAU and came with a custom domain. Those teams wanted links, not attribution, and now they’re reading an attribution product’s pricing page.

The second signed up for Core in the spring to test paid campaigns. If you run Meta, Google, Apple or TikTok ads and need to know which campaign brought which subscriber, $40 is still cheap next to most MMPs, and this change may barely matter to you. The people who lose out are the ones who only ever used the links.

If you only needed the links

Fair warning, this is the part where we talk about ourselves. Appy is a smart link tool: one link or QR code that sends people to the right app store, opens the app if it’s already installed, and counts the clicks. We don’t do ad-network attribution. If you need postbacks to Meta or TikTok, stay with an MMP.

But if your Airbridge account was really a handful of store links, QR codes on packaging and some deep links in emails, you don’t need an attribution plan to keep that running. Appy has a free plan that stays free, paid plans with the price written on the page, and nothing to install in your app for store routing. Links also keep redirecting after a paid plan ends, which is exactly the question Airbridge’s help center leaves open.

Before your trial or billing date

A short list, in the order we’d do it.

01

Find out which plan you’re actually on

Check the billing page in your Airbridge dashboard. If you joined under the DeepLink plan or the old Core allowance, ask support in writing whether those terms still apply to you and until when. Keep the reply somewhere you can find it.

02

List every link that’s already out there

Printed QR codes, store listings, email templates, social bios, ad destinations. Start with the printed ones, because you can’t take those back.

03

Check which domain your links use

Links on your own custom domain can be pointed somewhere else later. Links on Airbridge’s shared domain can only be redirected by Airbridge, so for anything you print from now on, use a link whose destination you can still change.

04

Export the reports you care about

Pull click and install history while you still have access. It almost never transfers between tools.

05

Test on real phones before swapping print

Whatever you move to, tap each new link on an iPhone, an Android phone and a desktop browser before it goes anywhere near a printer.

Frequently asked questions

Does Airbridge still have a free plan?

Not on its pricing page. As of September 23, 2026 the entry plan is Core, with a 30-day free trial and then $40 or more per month. Older Airbridge blog posts describing a free Core allowance or a free DeepLink plan are still online, but they don’t match current pricing.

What happened to the Airbridge DeepLink plan?

It no longer appears on the pricing page or in the help center’s plan guide, and the old DeepLink plan page now shows the Core plan instead. We couldn’t find an announcement explaining the change.

Will my Airbridge links stop working after the trial?

Airbridge’s help center explains billing after the trial but doesn’t say what happens to links on an unpaid account. Ask support directly before the trial ends, especially about links printed on packaging or posters.

Is there a free alternative for app store links and deep links?

Yes, if you don’t need ad-network attribution. Appy’s free plan covers smart links and QR codes that route to the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery, with no SDK needed for store routing. Attributing paid campaigns is a different job, and an MMP is still the right tool for it.
