Welcome to Appy
By accessing and using Appy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Service Description
Appy is an intelligent URL shortening and app store redirection service that allows users to:
- Create shortened URLs with smart device detection
- Redirect users to appropriate app stores (iOS App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery)
- Generate QR codes for easy sharing
- Track analytics and engagement metrics
- Implement deep linking capabilities
2. Account Registration
To use our service, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- Your first and last name
- A secure password
- Acceptance of these terms and our privacy policy
You may also register using Google OAuth. You are responsible for account security and for ensuring the account information you provide is accurate. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and legally capable of entering into this agreement.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Appy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for the links and content published through your account.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policywhich is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Data We Collect
- Account Information: Email, name, profile data
- Link Data: URLs, custom slugs, settings
- Analytics Data: Click counts, device types, geographic data
- Usage Data: Service interaction patterns
Prohibited Uses
Strictly Forbidden
The following activities are prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
Content Restrictions
- Malicious software or viruses
- Illegal content or activities
- Spam or unsolicited messages
- Fraudulent or deceptive content
- Adult content without proper age verification
- Copyrighted material without permission
Technical Restrictions
- Attempting to bypass security measures
- Reverse engineering the service
- Automated abuse or bot traffic
- Rate limit circumvention
- Service disruption attempts
- Unauthorized API access
Legal Terms
Billing and Merchant of Record
Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as Merchant of Record for checkout, invoices, and applicable sales taxes/VAT. Appy does not store full payment card details.
Renewal, Plan Changes, and Cancellation
Paid plans may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Plan upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation timing can depend on the active billing cycle and payment provider rules.
Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed case by case under applicable consumer laws and payment provider policies. Unless explicitly stated at checkout, no unconditional refund guarantee applies.
Limitation of Liability
Appy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Appy from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Third-Party Destinations
Appy can route users to third-party app stores and websites selected by you. You are responsible for destination legality, rights, and permissions. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, or security.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or abuse prevention rules.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service or by email.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkiye. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence remain applicable where required.
